Tracks 1-8 were released on the original LP. Track #9 is previously unreleased,
although there was a version of "Line for Lyons", recorded at Bourbon Street
with the same players, released on artisthouse AH2, "Paul Desmond".
This is an absolutely gorgeous album. It has been out-of-print for years,
and much sought after by Desmond fans. This material was the best of the Bourbon
Street sessions. The artisthouse LP and the Telarchive CD (CD-83319), "Like
Someone in Love" are interesting, but not as good as this one. It includes two
Desmond originals, the romantic ballad, "Wendy", based on the changes of "For
All We Know", and his signature tune, "Take Five".
